Did you stop dump1090-mutability before running rtl_test? If the dongle is in use by dump1090-mutability, the rtl_test will give claim error 6.

Did you miss to post this line of output?

Error opening the RTLSDR device: Device or resource busy

Try this:

sudo systemctl stop fr24feed

sudo systemctl stop dump1090-mutability

rtl_test -t

Check if dongle is plugged into Pi firmly. Unplug dongle, replug into Pi, then reboot, and check if it starts working ok.

If instead of plugging dongle directly into Pi, you have used a USB extender cable, the problem may be with the cable, not with the dongle. Try another cable or plug dongle directly onto Pi.

Hi! I installed the Raspberry Made Too Easy Package image file. It runs on Raspbian Lite, in console mode. DumP1090 Mutability installed. But everything installed right. But the dongle doesn't see the planes ADS-B signal. So what can I do?

What OS, Pi24, Piaware sd card, or Jessie or Stretch?
Did you install dump1090-fa or dump1090-mutability?

Give these commands and post output

cat /etc/os-release

apt-cache policy fr24feed

apt-cache policy dump1090

apt-cache policy dump1090-mutability

apt-cache policy dump1090-fa
