  • FR24 unit connectivity issues

    Hello all,

I just recently installed the FR24 box and had it connected to my network, but for whatever reason, it keeps disappearing. The power, GPS and data light are all on and flash rapidly. There's lights on in the back with the ethernet port, and on the router/modem. Every now and then it will show up on the network and then later disappear. Anyone have any idea of what is going on and how to fix it?

And for clarification, I have power cycled both the router/modem and the unit several times and changed ports, still negative results

Where are you viewing it "showing on the network"?

On the network page and terminal using arp -a, it’s not showing on either. Plus the my sharing data page on website has it listed as offline

          Thanks.

Are you running a free FR24 "radarcape" receiver?

If you do, what do you see if you type its local IP address into a local browser?

            192.168.0.170:80

And yes, it’s the provided receiver that they issued

If the FR24 supplied receiver is running and connected to your network, typing its local IP address into a local browser should display this status page.

If not, please contact FR24 Support as advised when you received the device. Support can do remote checks on the device.

Great. Looks like you eventually connected to the FR24 server and allocated a radar ID, F-KLHW1
