  • About my FR24 Radar Code.

    Hi,

    the context :
    Flightradar24 Feeder/Decoder
    Linux/generic/static_arm/1.0.18-9
    Updated: 12:05:49 GMT+0200 (CEST)

    FR24 Link: Connected via UDP
    FR24 Radar Code: T-LFBN2

The question is about the FR24 Radar Code.

I am located about 1.5 km away from LFBI and I am suprised to see my feed is tagged LFBN wich is 60 kms away.

Not a big deal but I liker to understand (and learn

    Thanks, Jacques
    T-LFBN2

    1. Did you set your position correctly ?

    2. Are there other receivers using LFBI designation? FR24 only uses the bigger airports, many smaller fields are not used for naming receivers.

At first I set it incorrectly ( -0.27 in place of 0.27) but I corrected it using MyFeed page, dragging the arrow to the right place.

How can I see that ?

      Tnx Jacques

        Hi

        There are 4 (from the sharer statistics list): F-LFBI1, T-LFBI4, T-LFBI5, T-LFBI6.

Could be related. Once set, it is unlikely to change without manual intervention from FR24 support.

Use https://www.flightradar24.com/share-statistics and enter an airport code to see if there are receivers named after it. If not, the airport is probably too small and is not in the FR24 list of possible receiver designators.
