  • Disabling web service on port 8754

    Hi,
Is there any way I can disable the web service running on port 8754?
If not, what does everyone else do? just firewall it off?

    Thanks

It's only accessible in-lan unless you put the device behind a DMZ anyway?

If you don't pinhole to it, no one else can get to it.

Its hard coded into the app so can't be disabled

Ok Thanks. This is an ADSB feeder at my workplace so I want to lock it down a little.

Here's how to do it (Raspbian) - it needs iptables-persistent to save the rules
      Code:
      sudo apt-get install iptables-persistent
sudo iptables -I INPUT -p TCP --dport 8754 -j DROP
      sudo netfilter-persistent save
