In fairness, he does have a point. For those of us who are prolific and regular contributors with new codes and corrections, we should at the very minimum receive a top level courtesy account from the site owner as a thanks for our efforts in helping to maintain the database and helping the site grow. This is something that is done by default for data contributors on another popular tracking site that may or may not have the initials AN and RB in their product title.

I totally agree. Currently I send data 24/7 to FR and other similar services through my ADS-B receiver only because the Premium access granted to me, since they earn money from it turns out to be a fair trade, and so makes perfect sense to do the same for database contribution as well. Now back to "business"...
