You've entered the decimal value of an partially erroneous binary value as your hex. This is a common thing with the Italian GA and I assume is due to some incompetency from ENAC when issuing the hex. 122646 decimal is 01DF16 hexadecimal. However that is not a valid range. You need to change the first 4 binary numbers from 0000 to 0011 which is then the valid binary block for Italy. That then gives you your correct hex which is 31DF16.

If that does not make any sense to you, change your transponder to this and you are good (this is your correct assignment) :

The worst thing is knowing that this PA28 code does not exist and some database editor is adding it to the database and it is still as if the aircraft was manufactured in 2025.
