I didn't understand your question now, you always asked to add new aircraft through the forum and aircraft data corrections through the forum too (here). Only aircraft corrections are being accepted here, new aircraft have the + option on the map, whoever is posting new aircraft on the forum is not being accepted (because there is already a way to do that).

Can you provide proof from the Brazil authority that this is the correct hex allocation for PT-OUF ? There is already a marker in the database showing that this hex is "miscoded transponders" which is quite clear to see from the flight ID history over the past 12 months : PTOUF PTLKP PTOIT PRGCP. The latter 2 have since been recoded but both PTLKP and PTOUF are using E49000 so it seems clear to me this is a generic hex used by operators who do not want to pay the authority for an official hex allocation. This is why your submission is not being accepted.

It's worth noting that database editor Arion already does an excellent job of maintaining the Brazil hex records and dealing with the endless miscodes so if you see something without any frame details or notes there is probably a good reason for it, as seen with your example above.

Many of these aircraft already have a HEX associated with them, only the owners lack interest in updating the transponder of the aircraft, in some cases the owners are removing the correct HEX from the aircraft and adding another one.

E497CD was changed to F497CD / yet the owner requested blocking with this HEX.

E48DE7 was changed to C48DE7/ yet the owner requested blocking with this HEX.

E4940F was changed to 00000E

In this case, we are seeing the FAA agreeing to block HEX that is not associated with the aircraft, and American HEX that is registered on other aircraft in other countries.

Danfer, we are no longer permitted to remove the operator tags, and in fact the editor won't even allow the action. They have to stay in place even when the plane has left the fleet years ago. It is a managerial decision.

I suspect these are actually being blocked from their flight ID rather than their hex as there is no option for hex blocking on the request form : https://www.faa.gov/pilots/ladd/request/

For the time being, we are continuing to use the forum for new additions and edits. I am sorry if the above post has created some confusion. Of course, for the aircraft with missing data "+" function can be used as well.
