not suer where it came from but the registration 2-ASKY does not exist and it never existed. The Boeing flies for Asky Airlins from Togo and is the first in its fleet that is actually registered in Togo (and not Ethiopia as all others in the Asky fleet).

Given it's a Guernsey hex then 2-ASKY likely did exist as the temporary registration with AerCap prior to delivery. It delivered to Lome with that hex so was probably still wearing the Guernsey reg. The Togo hex is yet to be discovered.

Some news items also show the arrival of this plane. Yes, the hex has not been updated yet unfortunately, but it's not carrying 2-ASKY as registration right now.

hi, I was at the airport in Lome at September 2 coming from Libreville when I saw the 5V-TTV registration on this plane. It came certainly from Addis with that registration. Some news items also show the arrival of this plane. Yes, the hex has not been updated yet unfortunately, but it's not carrying 2-ASKY as registration right now.

OK. We wait for hex to be updated then. It happens quite often for planes to ferry/deliver with a new registration applied but the crew haven't updated the transponder hex codes or transponder callsign, so I wouldn't read much into that. I do think that it was (temporarily) registered as 2-ASKY in between leases - if so the Guernsey register will show this on its next update.
