Out of curiousity, what is the reason and requirement for the change in hex? Why not 00DD58?

The HEX code had not been assigned correctly The tracks recorded as ZUIGT Were not really flown by ZUIGT. They were flown by another aircraft with a hex code incorrectly linked with ZUIGT.

I see the problem now. 00DD58 is actually ZU-IGK SLG4 based on callsign history from last year and earlier, so it was initially reported incorrectly. I have fixed that in the db. But I'm not seeing any evidence of 00A577 in use anywhere. Can you link me to when and where you have seen this hex pinging please?
