In Australia REGO for RA AUS Registered planes is abbreviated for Transponder Output
ie. 24-4205 Rego. is set to R4205 for transponder ouyput to differentiate “GA” & “ RECREATIONAL AVIATION” registrations. not sure how you capture this?

24-4205 is how it will get added as that's the official registration, but note you will only be able to view live flights on the map. Flight history for numerical registrations is not available on this site because the vast majority of them are military and blocked by default.
