The FAA think every TBM-850 or -900 is a TBM7 that's because they use the type certification for their model details.

The TBM-850 and 900 are based on the TBM7 type certification so are not new models under certification, ICAO on the other hand do list the TBM-850 as a TBM8, they havent got around to updating their site for the TBM-900 but that will be a TBM8
