Data errors in Flightradar24 aircraft database

I'm currently watching VIR16L from MCO to LGW which is showing as a BA A319. Not Virgin Atlantic.

I don't know if this is a database error or aircraft call sign issue?

After checking the LGW Timetable,. I see that on that Route,. that it is a Codesharing flight.
could be anyone of three Airlines

It is entered correctly in our Database,. and can therefore only think the crew has entered something wrong,. they do sometimes like us all,. make mistakes.

It is a code share but not with British Airways which is the aircraft it was showing. I've even been on that flight myself and know it isn't operated by BA at all.

It was showing as a BA A319 but with VIR16L as the callsign.

I can't remember anything else but I'm sure if you looked back at the replay it'll show you what I mean.

Thanks for correcting

I guess the historical data is written now so only new historical data will appear correctly. Example when you search for UPS208 for 27/06/12 it shows as N350UP but when you click on it it shows N351UP on the radar.
