    • ModeS: 7CC466
      Registration **Should** be: 23-8880

Type: The Airplane Factory - Sling 2
      Owner: Sydney Flying Academy

The aircraft is showing as registered under 24-8800 which is wrong.
And the Aircraft is displayed as type Luscombe 8 which is incorrect

        GRND

for a week he has been in Alicante ALC/LEAL airport (Spain). They had to get hold of the xponder of that old WWII Vought F4 and the current operator of that Hex code. It is a ground vehicle, a GRND, you can check it only makes tours of the entire track and streets and always at altitude 0, that vought F4 is currently in a museum in San Diego.

the data that are in the BD are:

        ABE091
        N86434
        F4U
        Vought F4U-4
        96885
        Private

          Miscode!

AEB091 is a USA hex allocation.

Database is correct, despite the F4U being in a museum, it has a current certificate of airworthiness.

                      • Hello,

                        HB-WYR should now be D-EYFF.
                        Hex code 4B3C99
                        Type PIVI

                        Thanks

D-EYFF will have a new German hex allocation.

Usually that would be the case but that assumes that it is actually enlisted in the german registry. It is however NOT enlisted on the German registry but is flying under permanent EASA Flight Conditions with a Permit to Fly. The transponder has therefore kept the same Hex code but the actual registration has changed.

'NOT enlisted on the German registry' ... but has a German registration?

                              Makes no sense to me.

                              • EC-JOU is in the database as 342313 but it flies as with 342413. Could be a database mistake instead of miscode? It never flown with the FR24 hex, and other websites report the actual hex.
