Don't know the ICAO type code? Look it up here.

    • VH-ZXD is presently assigned to an AW139 - Westpac 4 rescue helo in NSW, Australia with 7C81CF. Previously, this mark was assigned to a Qantas 767 but cancelled in July 2013. Can someone with database access/skills see if the 767 is still somehow linked to this mark as the AW139 is appearing on occasions in South and North America at FL380 and 850kph etc. I know the machines are good but maybe not that good !

      The 767 might now be N793JM - see http://www.aussieairliners.org/b-767/vh-zxd/vhzxd.html

      • N793JM is still using the old hex of VH-ZXD, 7C81CF.

The AW139 often uses callsign WP4, whereas the 767 uses no callsign.

Yes, the Dynamic Air 767 entered service not long ago and is still using the hex from its QFA past. It does appear to have one transponder correctly configured as there are a couple of pings for it on Aug 5 and 10 with a DYA callsign, but the vast majority of them are pinging from the 'other' misconfigured transponder. Not really much that can be done from a database editing perspective.

Are both of these miscoded, still using the German hex codes?

                          Should CS-DGS be 4910F3?

                              Yes they are

Regarding CS-DGS/CS-DCO, CS-DGS is operating with CS-DCO transponder, that is happening in almost all aircraft that belong to Nortávia and it is incredibly annoying since it already led some local spotters by mistake.
