Data errors in Flightradar24 aircraft database

Yes it is... It's a generic manufacturer multi-use code/reg.

Just what is the point in posting aircraft with Mis-Coded Hex.

Surely if an aircraft has a code inappropriate to its current registration it should not
be added to the Data Base. Doing so is only going to lead to confusion and more
errors. I have seen many examples of this including an aircraft exported from Australia
to South America where it continued to fly with its Australian Hex. Meanwhile that
Hex was re-issued to another Australian aircraft. Then someone tried to have the
data on the Australian aircraft changed to that of the exported aircraft.

Unfortunately, that happens far too often.

However, it's useful to know about miscodes, even if they're not added to the FR24 database. That info will still be searchable.

On the subject of miscodes....

The above is being used by both C172 I-SPAP and EC45 I-PEBZ and this was how it was displayed in the DB, but its now been changed to just I-PEBZ

I have no idea which is correct and ENAC wont tell me or inform the operators....

Hex 3003D7 is also used by two aircraft and is still shown in the DB as used by both

Thx, but next time please write the date of the first flight of the aircraft, not the delivery date. In this case it's 1996-03-20.

Above hex is a Leonardo Helicopters test reg I-RAIR

Its currently in the DB as CP-06 a Cyprus A139 which is still using this Hex code incorrectly, lazy engineers

You can decide if you want to change it, the real I-RAIR uses "Prova**" or its current MSN "69010" as a callsign
