Thank you for the quick registration of my aircraft!
The icon attributed to C42 ("OACO type designator" for IKARUS) is a Boeing twin-engine aircraft which is wrong. The icon should be a small single engine aircraft like the one attributed to PA28A (Piper). Thank you for your attention and correction on this point.

The 737 is the default icon for everyything pinging a mode-s code. Many type codes still have to be configured with appropriate icons. The C42 is one of many. I don't have a time-line of when they will be completed. They were supposed to have been "reworked" in the second half of 2022 ....

      • The icon associated with aircraft type code RF10 is still defaulted to the jet which is incorrect. It should be a glider with the same icon as type code SF25. Please can the database be updated to reflect this.

The icons have apparently been in a state of rework for well over a year now. We are still waiting.... There are hundreds of them completely wrong or don't have one assigned at all.

Can you only change the aircraft icon from glider to single engine piston, please?
            That's it
            Thank you very much!

              • Recently the Pel-Air Saab 340 freighter VH-KDB (MSN 340A-008) was handed over to Air Chathams in New Zealand as ZK-CIW, however the production list on FR24 still has the old Aussie rego attached to it. Can someone fix this please?

Editors are not permitted to remove frames from fleet lists by order of the site owner. The argument is that it messes up historical flight tracking in some way. Any complaints about this practice should be directed to support@fr24.com .

Piper M600 has code M600 not P46T, Cubcrafters Carbon Cub has CC11 not PA11 and more

                      • I was just looking on the map to see that Air Vanuatu flight NF50 to Auckland is operated by an aircraft that the database has registered as a De Havilland Twin Otter with a Solomon Islands registration.

I believe this is actually Solomon Airlines' newest jet H4-SAL. This is supported by an image of SAL at Port Vila on its way to Auckland from Solomon Airlines' official Facebook page, available at https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=...43343437820711. I'm posting this theory here and not the database change thread as I'm not sure if this is acceptable proof.

                          The A320 is miscoded.

                          • I noticed that all of the aircraft that fly contract for Amazon Air no longer show up under their operators. The aircraft for Atlas for example use 5Y flight numbers and GTI callsigns and have airline listed as Amazon Air. They have no codes or operators listed. Here is an example N5147A https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n5147a# is it possible to make all of these aircraft searchable by airline?
