Maybe stick with your XP setup as that's working OK.
Now without being a nuisance, LOL, if you have any secret formula to use a procedure on Windows 7 64, perhaps you could let me know, preferbly by a PM or e mail.
I would love it to be on here without a doubt, after all that is what I bought it for, but I got so annoyed in the first instance that I had wasted all that money, I HAD to get it up and running that is why I put it on the XP system.
The retailer showed me his computer in the shop, I went behind the counter to see it and he told me it was windows 7, but he had the 3D version, I have got the 2D version mate.

[QUOTE=Anmer;10142]Did you buy it mail order or over the counter?
If by mail order the UK distance selling regulations may allow you a full refund?[/QUOTE
Good morning Anmer, no mate, I bought it over the counter from an outlet in Letchworth Herts.
I definately think that the equipment is NOT what it is "cracked up to be".
One problem is you see, I am not a technical person by any standard and from a "laymans" point of view, it is not user friendly, Listening to people and reading about it, it seemed quite simple to get working, even for someone like me and in addition to that, being told on the day I bought it by the retailer that YES it will be ok with Windows 7, well as I said I have windows 7 64 and it most certainly will not work with that.
It is now working on another machine with XP,but I am still not happy with it, so I will just have to grin and bear it.
We all make mistakes, the trouble is this was an expensive one.

This thread is terrible.......I wish I had read all this before I spent my money on the Airnav Radarbox.
This whole situation is disgusting, surely something can be done about it ?
I have paid for Airnav Radarbox now with my money, so it has got to stay, but overall I am not happy with it. I only hope that eventually I will get enough use out of it to make its presense worth the money.
I am not a technical person by any standard, but since I got this Airnav product I have been made aware of definate flaws in Airnav customer support after problems with the radar box AND their false statement about Windows 7.
Also the retailer I bought it from assured me of its suitability, with my system, he was wrong, but he was probably only trying to get a sale.
Money "Not well spent " I fear.
Bill.

The text is still available...
Read it on the other link... Doh!
Link rot
A link that does not work any more is called a broken link, dead link or dangling link.
Some news sites contribute to the link rot problem by keeping only recent news articles online where they are freely accessible at their original URLs, then removing them or moving them to a paid subscription area. This causes a heavy loss of supporting links in sites discussing newsworthy events and using news sites as references.
You can also read/learn more about the internet stuff like 404 error.

Anmer,
Links will break all the time on the internet world wide web. When something is moved or deleted the link will break in most cases.

The Declaration of War - Andre Brandao (AirNav Systems CEO) vs MyShipPassion.Com
AirNav Systems owns ShipSpotting.Com
Andre Brandao had evidently made up his mind to attack MyShipPassion.Com whatever happened; and although he now says he has put forward reasonable proposals which were rejected by MyShipPassion.Com, that is not a true statement.
The proposals were never shown to the small websites nor to MyShipPassion.Com; and although they were announced in a ShipSpotting.Com broadcast on Thursday night, Andre did not wait to make comment on them, but ordered his troops to cross the small websites frontier.
His actions show convincingly that there is no chance of expecting that this man will ever give up his practice of using force to gain his will. He can only be stopped by force.

More people getting upset on the AirNav ShipTrax delays!
John Boyle - WHEN WILL SHIPTRAX BE LAUNCHED? Why the consistent delay...?
AirNav Systems - We should releasing more information in Mid June. We hope to have it launched at the end of June. The delay was due to shortage of components.
