Of course you should invest in hardware if you are running such business. We had a hard disk failure at one of our servers last week, and this didn't affect our service at all.

      Hi Mike,

Feel sorry for u suffering with AirNav RadarBox 3D off the air.

Lessons to be learnt by AirNav RadarBox 3D management.

Rule No 1 : NEVER pissed off your customers.

Rule No 2 : When Customers complained, listen to them, not BANNED them for speaking out.

What BETTER time for AirNav RadarBox 3D to suffer total breakdown than now, on 21 Dec 2012 - Mayan's predicted “ end of the world ” -

      - proverbal punishments for AirNav RadarBox 3D.
F-WSSS1 - Cats refused to Pee & Pooh on RadarBox - Running a FR24 Receiver & DVB-T Dongle 24/7 to piss off The Chief Thief.

        [older update]

Unfortunately we are still having maintenance issues with our central flight data server. One of the several HD that powers it crashed earlier today and is still being recovered. The backup servers will not work with this piece of hardware unavailable. It might take a few more hours for the situation to be restored.

RadarBox24.com There has been a major server failure corrective action is underway but it is unlnown at this time when normal service will be resumed

There's been no RadarBox network service since very early on Saturday morning. Nor is the forum available. The only place to get updates is the AirNav Facebook page.

          What a surprise.

AirNav has deleted my posts on it's Facebook page and blocked me from posting.

Nothing changes. Maybe it should remember I am a RadarBox owner too!

Down for about 50 hours now and I must say as an AirNav customer I'm very disappointed at the information from AirNav.

                    Saturday morning:

At this time and due to the extremlly high number of visits to RadarBox24.com website we are experiencing a flight data outage. We are working on this issue and we will port an update when we have more news. Our apologies for this fact.

                    Saturday afternoon:

We are continuing to work on this issue and it is possible that the server feeding data to RB24.com will continue to be down for the next 2 hours. We will keep posting updates on this portal.

                    Sunday morning:

Unfortunately we are still having maintenance issues with our central flight data server. One of the several HD that powers it crashed earlier today and is still being recovered. The backup servers will not work with this piece of hardware unavailable. It might take a few more hours for the situation to be restored.

                    Monday morning:
