Theres been a system change for the worse (dropping a frontline check) that has let a few more in than normal.

And possibly doesn't help I've banned a few on registering with H1ndi insults
Been a small increase on a couple of other sites I use, so maybe just a small surge in activity.

Disabling the homepage and profile field for <5 posts wood be a start. But apparently hard. Just like fixing spam-o-matic or adding the zbblock that knows the IP masking sources and prevents them

I accidentally added the 's' at end of stop. As in wishing it did stop them dead - Cause it doesn't seem to I do more manually than it captures it seems.

Resorted to opening my own API key and submitting them as the report post method doesn't appear to. Nor is it catching regular IPs you can find using serarch. But also doesn't appear to be setup to block editing of signature/homepage for less than x posts like it can do. Thats the primary target for the non bot created ones.

I've used StopForumSpam on a forum for 9 years. As you say, "stops them dead".

But it has to be used carefully, checking more than one data element when necessary. Some of which are not available to FR24 forum members.

Mmmhm. Just a shame a couple more layers of prevention aren't installed. (or stopforumspam actually stops them dead) Heap from Digital ocean, Fixed IPs at Viettel group Vietnam, Amazon AWS, LogicWeb (VPS), Teamcloud.

Likelyhood of it being a home user and not something creating accounts all over the joint in a short space of time are very slim.

Take the time to head straight to the open topic on the forum. Post. And then come back in the near future and change it to the assignment writing scam website they are paid by.

And apparently have a lot of interests at different forums.
