  • Who lives here?

I am mystified. Looking at the London area on the FR24 map. Just north of the Hammersmith flyover, there is a place marked 'Home'.
Increasing the magnification brings up 'Chesterton Road, London, W10'.
Since I originally bought and downloaded this app from the Apple App store. I am wondering why someones house should be indicated on the map.
I live in East London and my house in indicated by a blue 'X'. So it isn't me.
Where's the profit in world peace? Or a cure for the common cold?

    Hi.

That street is just north of the Westway (A40) off Ladbroke Grove.

Can you post a screenshot of the zoomed in area.

Haven't tried to post a picture here before. Let alone a screen grab. Anyway, here goes. This is the area, with the 'Home' roughly in the centre.

I see that it's not a Google map, so I guess your are using the Mac App? The Mac App uses some kind of IP-adress -> real address service that gives a estimation of your location based on your IP.

Yes, I can just click on the 'My Location' button and it will place a blue cross on my roof. (no planning permission required) This 'Home' was obviously included and printed when the map was designed.
