the (very intelligent) great promotion for Armavia Sukhoi Superjet100

** Sukhoi in Russian means dry.

"Image is nothing, peeing is everything" -- just another motto

Depardieu finds Armavia willing to accommodate his needs

Armenian airline Armavia has given an able demonstration of how to turn crisis into opportunity by using Gerard Depardieu's most recent controversy about a CityJet flight to Dublin to promote its own services.

In a television commercial a hostess for the airline enquires whether the French actor is okay, to which he replies: "Everything is good, thank you Armavia."

    Prostate ‘forced Depardieu to urinate’

Paris, Aug. 19 (Reuters): French actor Gerard Depardieu was humiliated and apologised to fellow passengers when prostate problems forced him to urinate in front of them during takeoff on an Air France flight this week, a friend said.
Fellow actor Edouard Baer, who was travelling with the 62-year-old film star on the flight to Dublin to film the latest Asterix and Obelix movie, said Depardieu had tried to urinate in a water bottle when denied access to the toilet by a hostess.

Depardieu midflight pee makes Cooper teary

The incident reduced CNN's Anderson Cooper to a giggling, teary mess, barely able to squeak out "Sorry, this has never happened to me" as he recounted "news" of French actor Gerard Depardieu being thrown off an Air France flight for urinating in the middle of a packed cabin.

  • Gerard Depardieu kicked off plane after peeing on floor

French film star Gerard Depardieu was caught short on a Paris to Dublin flight and relieved himself on the cabin floor in front of shocked passengers, a witness and the airline said Wednesday.

A friend of France’s best-known movie actor disputed the account, claiming that the 62-year-old bon vivant had been trying to urinate discreetly into a bottle after a flight delay and was "mortified" to cause a spillage.

The plane taxied back to the terminal and Depardieu was escorted off the flight by ground crew without incident.
