  • Question to people who have flown private jets

If you have flown a private jet, how does it feel gravity/turbulance wise compared to a commercial plane?, does it feel less safer in a private jet?..
What would you say are the disadvantages? and advantages of flying private?
Are the pilots normally better/worse or as good as commercial pilots?
    please leave your experiences.

Its all basic science. You need to be 250kms+ before it starts having a noticable effect

an increase in altitude from sea level to 9,000 metres (30,000 ft) causes a weight decrease of about 0.29%. (An additional factor affecting apparent weight is the decrease in air density at altitude, which lessens an object's buoyancy.[7] This would increase a person's apparent weight at an altitude of 9,000 metres by about 0.08%)
And as it says there, higher altitude = less density, and usually less turbulence. They also go faster and can shave traveltime. Thats why those who can afford it take advantage of the privacy ontop of these factors.

Thanks, In terms of pilot experience, are they ex-commercial pilots?
