Air NZ to raise stake in Virgin Australia

Air New Zealand plans to raise its stake in Virgin Australia Holdings to 25.9 per cent after getting the green light from Australian authorities.

It received approval from the Australian Treasurer to lift its stake after gaining consent from the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the Auckland-based airline said.

Isn't this same Air New Zealand caused the collapse of Ansett Airline on 12 Sept 2011 ?
