  • British Airways at BHX?

    Hi all
Ive always wondered if BA come to BHX?
Ive never seen a BAW call sign landing at BHX?
Also ive seen that BA have 2 call-signs:
    1)BAW
    2)SHT
    Can anyone tell me why?

BAW is used for international flights.
    SHT for domestic flights.

    I think it's like that.

Fly with British Airways from Rotterdam (Netherlands) to Birmingham (United Kingdom & N. Ireland).
Please go to the British Airways website and try to book a flight to or from Birmingham. Or view the routes from Birmingham and you'll see they are operated by Flybe not BA.

Edit: - Just realised Gabriel121 is a spammer!

BA only flies from airports where it can generate revenue and profitability.

              Obviously I'm losing my touch

I replied to two posts about BA at BHX.

The first was in response Gabriel121's post (which has since been removed by, I guess, Admin):

              Then zak123's.

Having posted my replies I realised, having viewed Gabriel121's other posts, that he was spamming the forum. So I edited my original post.

These "spammers" post replies that seem relevant to the message but are only there to promote unrelated websites. The clue is the hyperlinks in the signature and, usually, multiple posts at the same time across other message boards on the forum. This is what Gabriel121 was doing.

Apart from wasting space it also wastes our time responding to what, at first, appears to be a genuine post.

              Hope that clarifies?
