  • Tail number from ICAO 24 code

    Hi,

I've been researching how to get a tail number from ICAO 24 hex code for quite a while now and wasn't able to get anywhere.
Does anyone know if there is an API or a database (even paid one) with this information?

    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Maciej Radochonski

Any chance of sharing that excel file with us? I have a stack of 'unknowns' not in 'Airframes' or 'Gatwick' and cant be located elsewhere either. It may also be of help to many of us.

Hi Gregg, at the moment I'm loathe to share it publically (due to the amount of work put in and the fact I know a few people that are wanting to use it commercially!) but if you want to drop me a message with the list of codes you have outstanding, I can see if anyone of them are tied up in my file?

Thankyou for that kind offer Chris and I understand your reluctance to make it public. It may take some time to put that together at the moment due to personal reasons. Perhaps we should actually start a thread of 'unknown hex codes' for all to contribute as I've seen elsewhere. Something to consider.

              Regards,
              Gregg
