  • aer lingus viscount crash

did anyone hear about the 1968 viscount crash off the coast of ireland at tuskar rock as it was on route to london heathrow? there are numerous theoires as to what happend ''hit a flock of geese'' ''shot down by the british'' and so on. the only thing the atc heard was the captain saying the plane was decending rapidly and then they lost communication. i would be interested to hear what others think happend to this plane. thanks george
