Emirates to fly daily to Narita starting November
Dubai: Emirates, one of the fastest growing international airlines, announced an increased commitment to Japan with the introduction of two extra flights a week, ensuring a daily, non-stop service between Dubai and Narita International Airport from November 1.
Emirates has been flying to Narita since launching the route on March 28, 2010 and will continue to use a Boeing 777-300ER on the route with eight private suites in First Class, 42 seats in Business Class and 304 Economy Class seats for a total of 354 seats; and also 23-tonnes of bellyhold cargo.

Gulf Air set to add routes to Europe, Middle East
Gulf Air, Bahrain’s state-owned carrier, plans new routes in the Middle East and Europe to add service to financial centers, chairman Talal al-Zain said.
The BD400m ($1.06bn ) that the Gulf kingdom injected into Gulf Air last year has helped “very much” as the carrier reorganizes, al-Zain said in an interview at his office in Manama.

Lufthansa raises Abu Dhabi route capacity
Abu Dhabi: Airports Company (Adac) and Lufthansa German Airlines announced yesterday the increase of flight capacity between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi International Airport starting by the end of October.
Lufthansa flights on Abu Dhabi sector will no longer continue onwards to Muscat, giving full capacity of the aircraft to Abu Dhabi-Frankfurt passengers, the airline announced in an emailed statement.

Turkish Airlines, the national airline of Turkey, will launch its nonstop service to Turin from August 2, making it the airline’s seventh destination in Italy.
The airline will fly three times weekly from its hub in Istanbul, departing on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
This new flight connects Istanbul with an important Italian business and cultural center, and joins Rome, Milan, Venice, Bologna, Genoa and Naples as a Turkish Airlines’ network city.
