Hi there!
Does somebody know what happened at Heathrow today evening? At around 1945UTC, three planes couldn't land at 27R, they did a go around at about 3 miles from T/D. Then every other planes coming to 27R diverted to 27L. Now it seems operating normally again.

UK marks 25 years since Lockerbie bombing
BRITISH Prime Minister David Cameron has paid tribute to the "fortitude and resilience" of people affected by the Lockerbie bombing.
He said the 1988 atrocity, which killed 270 people, remained "one of the worst aviation disasters in history and the deadliest act of terrorism" committed in the United Kingdom.

Two men killed in gyrocopter crash in Kinglake National Park
A MELBOURNE pilot and a man believed to be an overseas tourist have died in a gyrocopter crash in the state's northeast.
Their bodies were found in the aircraft's wreckage in thick bushland in Kinglake National Park about 7am today following a widespread search involving police and SES members last night and this morning.
Benalla Acting Snr Sergeant Colin Anderson said the gyrocopter took off from the Yarra Valley conference centre on the Melba Hwy, near Dixons Creek, carrying the two men at about 5.20pm yesterday.
The pilot was a 51-year-old Melbourne man.

The BBC has different pictures taken from further down the plane!

Fiery plane crash at Aspen Airport
These are preliminary reports so may contain some inaccuracies;
ASPEN, Colo. - The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office confirms emergency crews are responding to an accident at the Aspen Airport.
The plane appears to be a Bombardier Challenger 600 that was coming from Tucson to Aspen, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Comedian Kevin Nealon tweeted: "Horrible plane crash here at Aspen airport. Exploded into flames as it was landing. I think it was a private jet."
"Fire truck and ambulances were on the scene within minutes," Nealon tweeted. "I don't believe there are any survivors."

I wouldn't take the information from a grain of salt knowing the media outlet publishing this..
I find it hard to believe they could see a target at 26,000 overhead let alone track it or point it at it for a solid 10seconds. Given the beans start to disperse to a really wide and weak beam over a matter of a few hundred meters
All the while giving people that use them for legitimate astronomy like myself (I don't even point it directly at satellites incase one turns out to be an over-fly!) a bad name and heading toward banning themPosts not to be taken as official support representation - Just a helpful uploader who tinkers
