Brazil plane crash in Recife kills all 16 on board

This must have been an awful thing to witness.
"I saw a woman in a window [of the plane] asking for help and it just exploded" witness Erandir Rodriguez told the Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper.

NOAR grounded by Brazilian Civil Aviation Authority.

"On Jul 18th Brazil's Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) decided to suspend NOAR's Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) indefinitely, effectively grounding the airline, due to irregularities in their aircraft and maintenance documentation. An investigation has been initiated, that is going to last at least a week and may result in penalties ranging from the company being fined to their AOC being revoked. The airline's website has no indication of the suspension of flights or any message regarding the crash."( Aviation Herald.)
