The firstborn of the Soviet civil aviation - Ilyushin IL-12 and IL-14. After World war two, Soviet Union switched to an improved version of a twin-piston airliner, the Ilyushin il-12, later to its modified version il-14. Manufacturing of both il-12 and il-14 was in enormous quantity as per the demand of usage by Soviet Civil and Military Service and by Soviet client states.
