European originating Trans-Atlantic Icelandair passengers will be routed to their final destination via Glasgow. Icelandair will operate direct flights between Glasgow to Boston, New York and Seattle.
Passengers travelling to and from Iceland will have the option of being re-routed through Glasgow to/from Akureyri airport, which is located in a 4 hour driving distance from Reykjavík, or Keflavík airport when it is open.
