  • AUA757W on 2010-12-20 from VIE to SJJ returns to origin aiport on half way. Why?

www.FlightRadar24.com shows that the plane returned halfway, somewhere over Croatia.

The destination airport SJJ's website www.sarajevo-airport.ba shows this flight as delayed, then cancelled.

But at the same time www.FlightStats.com shows this plane on landing approach to SJJ!

    Arising questions:

    1) How can you explan the two different realities on FR24 and FS? Logically only one can be true at a time: at a certain time, a physical body can only be at one certain place! Which one is it? Why? And how did this data discrepancy came into existence?

    2) What was the reason for the aircraft to return? Snowy conditions? But if so, why did this aircraft even depart, if the destination is only about 1-2 hours away, hence weather conditions are likely already foreseeable at departure time? Communication problems? Or really such a sudden change? Or was it another reason?
