No contrails today in my airspace, but had a really nice clear sky. Not many movements due to most aircraft routing over Scotland on east to west routes over the atlantic.

Hi JPRO747 - Welcome.For your first post that's an excellent photo.Presumably not the first time you have taken pictures of aircraft at that height.
What camera setup do you have.
Blue sky here in the South East but no contrails. :-(

Thanks for the comment. This isn't my first photo of this kind, I have been doing this hobby for about 6 years now... I'll put my photo album in my signature. I am using a canon 50D on a 12" dobsonian telescope with 2x televue powermate.

I took some more pics this morning but still no contrails....Will upload them later.

Hi,

Yesterday the contrails came back, this time but only between 28,000 & 32,000ft... which allowed me to snap some LGW departures
