  • Virtual Airlines

As we all share a enthusiasm for aviation, why would we be on this forum if not, I thought I would share another way in which I enjoy a aviation interest as a hobby.

A Virtual Airline is an organization that replicates the operations of a real world airline through the use of Flight Simulation software such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, X Plane or Prepar3D.

On and off I have been involved with VA's since the late 1990's.

It is a great way to learn about aviation and also have a bit of fun.

A friend & I have recently reopened a VA we originally started back in 2000!

Please have a look at the website at - www.airwego.org.uk

Any feedback on the site or questions are welcome!

It is not quite Flightradar but through some clever programming our web developer has been able to add a Flight Arrivals / Departure Board to our website which replicates our schedule!

I think it look pretty cool!
