CMB/RSD Flights in FR24 App

Hi,

I have noticed that CMB flights are listed as US Air Force, and RSD flights are listed as Russian Air Force when setting alerts or searching in the app.

This is incorrect. CMB flights are all civilian aircraft, with civilian crews etc, working on a contract for the US Department of Defence (not specifically the USAF). RSD flights are owned and operated by Rossiya on contract for the Russian Government under their special flight division.

Hope this helps, and can be corrected (to avoid confusion to people not aware of this).

I understand what you are saying, but the CMB designator is allocated to US TRANSCOM which is an agency of the USAF. So if the aircraft is flying CAMBER then it should be listed as a US mil flight.

Just as if a wet-lease was flying on a UAL code, we wouldn't refer to it as a EuroAtlantic flight.
