Kurt, we live in the Philippines and it is difficult to get stuff to us especially if you live inland. TNT evidently doesn't know how to select a forwarding agent that serves the area the package is addressed to and are using the trial and error method in their selection.

We can't expedite this delivery but for others who are receiving packages sent through TNT, the Billing Department of TNT when contacting you will accept your recommendation of a forwarding agent that currently delivers in your area. FR24's consolidator doesn't know who will deliver your package and leaves it up to TNT, who it seems is clueless.

For FR24's consolidator, EMS may be a better fit since the postal service is local and knows how to find your post office. The downside of using EMS is that you may have to go to the post office to retrieve your package. EMS uses the airlines from Manila and picks up every flight and delivers it to your local post office the next day which is exactly what a local forwarder does.

The downside of using EMS is we have no local home delivery of mail and it requires one giving a heads up to your post office you are looking for a package with a certain tracking number and to call you when it arrives. A small load contribution is appreciated.

JRS is a good forwarder so if JRS delivers on Saturday you will be all set to go but if not Monday will be delivery day. LBC, 2GO deliver on Saturday.

Kurt you are getting good coverage to west of Mindoro, Batangas up to east of NAIA and northwest filling in the MLAT5. Almost all of the aircraft you see are covered also by at least 3 other receivers.

Thanks for having perseverance in waiting for the receiver.

                  • Storm Bearing Down on the Visayas--Due Saturday and Sunday

Here in the Central Visayas and Mindanao we have a storm due to hit us this weekend which will impact a lot of FR24 feeder families.

http://www.goes.noaa.gov/sohemi/sohe...irgmscolw.html This link is mobile friendly showing where the storm is within the last hour.

The projected eye of the storm could be over Dumaguete 2 AM Sunday morning. High tide and wind could be a factor in coastal flooding.

It was just a few years ago Typhoon Sendong followed about the same track and caused massive flooding in CDO and Iligan and Dumaguete.

Do your storm preparations today before conditions worsen.

Check the tightness of the guy wires on your mast and make sure any exposed coax connections are fully taped. While we could expect power outages in some cases for extended periods stock up on batteries and generator fuel as necessary.

Safety is our utmost concern so if killer trees are on your property prune them today and police up any debris that might become airborne during high wind gusts.

Have a Plan B incase you receive extensive damage and must evacuate to higher ground or a hotel on short notice. Have a bag for every member of your family with the necessary items like first aid kits, flashlights and batteries and snacks and canned ready to eat goods. Don't forget your chargers for your phones and gadgets because in case of calamity you will need to find someone with a generator to recharge.

We've been through this before so if all else fails....hunker down.

                    FR24 feeders at risk are:

                      • ONYOK Has Been Downgraded to an LPA

ONYOK has been downgraded to a low pressure area and will track across Mindanao as a rain event with occasional light to heavy rain. This is the current projected path.

                            • We have a new feeder in the Butuan, Agusan del Norte, Mindanao area, F-RPWE1. Since I just discovered it, it's range is unknown.

If you are that feeder, stop in and say hello. You are welcome here.
