Thanks, that works ... could it be added to the info given when "--help" is used (along with any other arguments not listed) in a future release?

      • I guess it makes sense to do that

        • I've loaded my Basestation.ini file into Radarview but the colour changes are not taking effect. I've tried it several times with no success. My water has an orange outline in Radarview, but in Basestation it's a pretty aqua colour.

          • Is it possible in radar view put navigation aids, as on premium account (VOR, NDB,...), and is it possible to enhance runway on radar view? It is too smal, and too thin.
            Thanks

Also, if you router have dyndns capability, it is possible to have local traffic even from remote location, not from same network range. Just use port forwarding.

            • You can customise RadarView, adding waypoints and outlines in the same way as the BaseStation software.

              This may help:

The runway outlines should be proportional in length and width to the rest of the map.

I don't think it's possible to use RadarView remotely. But I haven't tested this.

              • Well, I am dumb, and do not know how to import my waypoints to RadarView witch is accessed by Chrome.
I am traying to put nav aids for Croatia from printed charts, to waypoints.

For using radar view on different location with local feeds, I use dyndns at home router, and port forwarding.

                It is working OK.

                • You must first create a Waypoint file and then upload it to RadarView.

The link explains how to create Waypoint files.

                    • Browse for and upload the .wpt file using the RadarView option in Settings.

                        • Can you paste an extract from the .wpt file here?

                            • Thanks.

A waypoint file is a text file with a specific format as explained in the Bones Tutorial:

"There are seven parameters for each data line. These are:

Name , ID , Waypoint Field , Zoom Level , Latitude , Longitude , Altitude AMSL"

Here is an example for some Italian VOR locations with the Name and Altitude omitted:

                              ,ALB,3,1,44.0481694444444,8.12761666666667,0

                              ,BAR,3,1,41.1442611111111,16.77645,0
                              ,BLA,3,1,45.4942222222222,8.10058333333333,0

Your pasted extract doesn't conform to the required format.

I was presuming that .wpt is all the same, but I was wrong.
Now it is OK. Ill put Croatian wpt to one file, and it will be much easier to obsrve.
