Any chance we'll get Apple's own maps as a map type for FR24 on the Mac? I'm really not a fan of any of those provided.

I have a White MacBook running OS 10.6.8 (will not allow update to 'Mavericks').
When I launch Flightradar24 (Ver 1.9.8), as described in other posts, it prompts for 'current location' then crashes a few seconds later.
I found that by clicking 'Don't Allow' at the first show of this prompt, the program would load & run OK!
Hope this works for others using OS 10.6.8.

HI - I have been using FR24 on my iPhone (+5S) as well as on my iPad3. After some excellence experience I bought also the FR24 App for Mac. I am using a MacBookPro with Mavericks. No problems so far with installation or crashes (none!) however I am deceived, that I do not get any 3D / Cockpit view as in the other apps and on the Web-edition. Did I miss anything when installing?
Thanks for assistance Beat F

What is the padlock for?
Hello, I have just bought and installed the app for Mac, it is running under OSX Mavericks 10.9.5
I have figured out most things but cannot find out what the padlock symbol in bottom right hand corner of screen is for.
If I click on it nothing seems to happen except it changes to a dark colour.
Also, I can't get FR24 to display flights leaving an airport, only arrivals.
And, how do I set my location? If I try that it takes me to a spot over the ocean just off the west African coast. I am in Australia.
Thanks,
Davo.

Hi, quick question. On the iOS version (and on the android, even Windows - got them all!), when you select an aircraft, you get the pop up with further details and a picture of the actual aircraft. You can the tap on the picture, and this will open a link on planespotters.net, for further pictures and info - this seems to be missing from the OSX (Yosemite) version, or am I missing something?
All the best,
Richard
