    Why is the area arouund Farnborough blanked-out on FR24?

    It's not, I've seen several scheduled flights go over. My guess is that either the aircraft at Farnborough do not have their ADS-B transponders on, or they are simply flying to low to be picked up by receivers in the area.

    No, what I meant was that yesterday I scrolled over to the area around Farborough to see if any "show" TRAFFIC might be showing and there seemed to be a large grey box (blank) around the whole area. I have just been on there agin and there is no grey box, so I was wondering if there was a restricted area in force to surpress the signal?
