    Flight returned to Manchester

    Hi everyone

I'm a new member and have only just got back in to plane spotting while recovering from a serious illness.

I noticed today that Etihad 21 ( a flight i've been on ) changed airports after quite a while of circling over the peak district, it then landed at East Midland instead of Manchester.

Anyhoo, I then noticed Jet 2 flight LS897, does anyone know what happened ?

I hear Manchester has had low visibility this afternoon. Possibly weather diversions?

    Thanks Anmer

I'm around 15 miles away from Mcr and it is a little murky, nothing out of the ordinary though.

Although it wouldn't really explain why a flight would head back from cruising altitude over The Wash.
