I don't think anyone has paid any money. Nor do I think it's a scam, just very poor communication.

Yea.! I think that is pretty obvious., You cant expect a Mescedes when you buy a Volkswagen.

But the PG is really for the people who want to try plane plotting,it gives them a smell of what its
like. (So Im now looking for an SBS1)

(After saying that.., I can now expect a backlash from Anmer) Hilfe.!

Radarspotter members are now reporting payments for the Aurora Eurotech receiver and expect delivery within the next few days.

My own reservation hasn't been invited for payment but we should start getting initial customer feedback soon.

    Have you heard some news?

No, still not been invited to pay, nor have some who reserved in January.

Initial feedback from the handful who have received their Aurora Eurotech receivers suggests a few problems. My guess is shipping has been postponed while these are resolved. Makes one wonder how much beta testing took place?

Thanks, i have just read the bug reports and there sure are some problems to solve. I have not tried this box personally but it seems like, just like RadarGadget, that you get what you pay for. A simple, cheap receiver that covers your neighborhood, but do not work good for a more professional setup with amplifier or external antenna.

I have a PlaneGadget and agree it's a small, low cost receiver. By using the PlanePlotter software it avoids that development cost.

I still have more testing to do, but PlaneGadget isn't as good as the SBS-1 when using an external antenna.

The SBS-1 is still the best priced enthusiast receiver (in my opinion), far better than the RadarBox on comparative trials and quality engineering - RadarBoxes are still being sent back for repair. It would be good to see some new Basestation software though.

The Aurora looked more interesting, especially with new 3D software and an "open" platform. Hopefully I'll find out one day?
